Steven Orland's "Days Out" Photo Gallery
![]() ![]() On the 30th March 2005 my mum and dad took me to Birmingham Symphony Hall to see my friend Gordon Giltrap in the best concert - ever! We even sat on the very front row. He played with the Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra and lots of other very special guests including Raymond Burley and Rick Wakeman. Even Jasper Carrott came on to introduce the show.
He played all my favourite pieces of music, especially Here Comes the Sun, A Dublin Day, Appalachian Dreaming and A Christmas Carol which he played with Ray.... but he left my very favourite until the end - Lucifer's Cage!
![]() It's so nice in St. Agnes, we're going back again in 2005.
Can you see it yourself?

Near to the mill is the village of Hampton Lucy and here is the lovely little church there. ![]() ![]() ![]() Above and to the right is the River Avon next to a village called Ashow near to Stoneleigh. Both photos were taken from the same bridge but one was looking slightly towards the sun and one was away from it. It makes a big difference to the picture.
![]() We also went to Lichfield this year (2004) to see their huge cathedral. It's a beautiful building with three spires... and we saw a duck there too! ![]() ![]() Near to the Leicester Space Centre is an old Pumping Station museum. I spotted this model train in there. ![]() We like to go bowling too. Here is my sister again after her go.
![]() On the way back from Exmouth in February 2005, we stopped at Wells to see their cathedral - and have some dinner too! ![]() And here is their fine cathedral.
